Payroll & EVV

The two things families should never have to guess about.

When the agency is live, this page becomes the “what is happening with my time/pay?” hub.

Everyday support

Payroll and EVV should feel predictable.

Keep pay schedules, time approval, EVV basics and correction guidance in one calm, easy-to-find place.

Fix an EVV issue

What to gather before contacting support so a correction can be handled faster.

How-to
Before approving time

Five things to check.

  • ✓Correct employee and service.
  • ✓Correct dates and time in/time out.
  • ✓Hours match what was actually worked.
  • ✓Any EVV exceptions/corrections are addressed.
  • ✓Schedule stays within authorization/budget rules.
Payroll problem?

Give support the exact issue.

Instead of “my check is wrong,” send: employee name, pay period, expected hours, actual paid hours, and the specific date/time entry you think is incorrect. Do not send SSNs or bank details through unsecured email.

EVV in clear

What EVV is doing

Electronic Visit Verification is used for certain Medicaid personal care/home health services to electronically verify required visit information. The exact app/vendor and correction workflow depends on the FMSA/program setup.

When My CDS Texas is live, this page will show the exact EVV vendor, training videos, login link and correction instructions instead of sending users to a generic help page.

Common issue

Employee cannot submit time

Possible reasons can include incomplete enrollment, missing/expired required documentation, termination/inactive status, or an account/setup issue. Check employee status before assuming it is a payroll-system failure.
